The Role

As a KS2 HLTA, you will take responsibility for delivering:

• PE lessons across Key Stage 2
• Non-core foundation subjects across KS2
• Whole-class teaching in the absence of class teachers where required
• Supporting pupils to remain engaged, motivated, and challenged in their learning

Importantly, there is no planning required and you will not be responsible for teaching core subjects such as English or Maths. This allows you to focus on delivering engaging lessons and creating positive learning experiences for pupils.

The Ideal Candidate

We are seeking a confident and enthusiastic HLTA who:

• Holds a recognised HLTA qualification or has relevant HLTA experience.
• Has a strong understanding of the Key Stage 2 curriculum.
• Is confident leading whole-class teaching sessions.
• Can deliver high-quality PE and foundation subject lessons.
• Builds positive relationships with pupils, staff, and parents.
• Is organised, proactive, and able to adapt to different year groups.
• Brings enthusiasm, energy, and creativity into the classroom.
