Corporate Partnerships Manager Job Summary Yorkshire's Brain Tumour Charity is a small charity with big ambitions. We support brain tumour patients and families across Yorkshire and fund pioneering research in our region.
Every partnership we build helps us reach more people affected by brain tumours, raise vital funds and increase awareness of the support available to families across Yorkshire.
We are now looking for an ambitious and relationship-focused
Corporate Partnerships Manager to develop and grow our relationships with businesses and organisations across Yorkshire.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys building meaningful relationships, spotting opportunities and turning conversations into successful, long-term partnerships. You will lead on developing new corporate relationships while providing excellent stewardship to our existing supporters, helping businesses find engaging and mutually beneficial ways to support our work.
You will also contribute to the charity's marketing and communications activity, working collaboratively with the Community Fundraiser and wider team to share compelling stories, promote campaigns and events, increase awareness of our services and strengthen YBTC's profile across Yorkshire.

As the organisation continues to grow, there will be opportunities to develop and progress within the fundraising team and wider charity.

Salary: £27,500 - £29,500 (depending on experience)
Hours: Full-time (flexible and hybrid working - we are open to conversations about how this role works best for you)
Contract: Permanent
Location: Your contractual place of work will be your home address. The role will involve travel across Yorkshire to meet corporate partners, attend events and develop new relationships. You may occasionally be asked to attend our Leeds office for team meetings, training or specific organisational needs. Such visits will not form part of a regular working pattern.

Key Responsibilities: Corporate Partnerships & Relationship Management - Develop and grow income from corporate partnerships across Yorkshire
- Identify and secure new corporate supporters, including Charity of the Year and other partnership opportunities
- Build strong relationships with businesses and organisations across the region
- Maintain and grow existing corporate relationships to maximise engagement and income
- Create tailored proposals, pitches and partnership opportunities that meet the needs of both YBTC and prospective partners
- Deliver excellent stewardship, ensuring corporate supporters feel valued, engaged and connected to our work
- Develop a strong pipeline of prospective and existing corporate partners
Business Development & Income Growth - Proactively identify businesses and sectors with the potential to support YBTC
- Develop creative opportunities for businesses to fundraise, sponsor, donate and engage their employees
- Develop sponsorship opportunities for charity events, campaigns and initiatives
- Work towards agreed corporate fundraising targets and contribute to wider fundraising team objectives
- Monitor and report on corporate partnership activity, pipelines and income
Marketing, Communications & Storytelling - Work collaboratively with the Community Fundraiser and wider team to support the charity's marketing and communications activity
- Develop engaging content and stories that showcase our impact and inspire businesses and supporters to engage with YBTC
- Contribute content for social media, newsletters, website and other communications
- Support the promotion of fundraising campaigns, events, corporate partnerships and organisational activity
- Help promote YBTC's support services across Yorkshire to increase awareness, referrals and engagement
- Ensure communications are consistent with YBTC's brand, values and key messages
PR & External Engagement - Identify opportunities to raise YBTC's profile through local media, business networks and external partnerships
- Build relationships with relevant external stakeholders, networks and organisations
- Support PR activity, including local media, radio, features and partnership stories
- Represent YBTC confidently at networking events, corporate meetings and external events
- Support awareness campaigns that increase the visibility and reach of the charity
Campaigns, Events & Fundraising Support - Work collaboratively with the Community Fundraiser to maximise the reach and impact of fundraising campaigns and events
- Support the development and promotion of corporate fundraising opportunities linked to YBTC campaigns and events
- Attend corporate events, presentations, networking opportunities and supporter activities
- Identify opportunities for businesses to become more deeply involved in YBTC's work
Other - Ensure all fundraising activity is compliant with relevant regulations and best practice (including the Fundraising Code of Practice)
- Maintain accurate records of corporate relationships, opportunities and activity
- Attend team meetings and contribute to a positive, collaborative culture
- Contribute to wider organisational objectives and activities
- Undertake occasional evening/weekend work to support events, partnerships and fundraising activity
Person Specification: Knowledge & Experience Essential: - Experience of developing and managing relationships in a fundraising, business development, sales, account management, partnerships or similar role
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the confidence to engage and inspire a wide range of people
- Experience of developing new relationships and identifying opportunities
- Ability to create persuasive proposals, presentations or pitches
- Excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities and relationships
- Strong written communication skills
- Confident using IT systems including Microsoft Office
- Ability to work independently and as part of a small team
Desirable: - Experience of corporate fundraising or partnerships within the charity sector
- Experience of securing Charity of the Year or corporate partnership opportunities
- Experience of marketing, communications, PR or social media
- Experience of supporting fundraising campaigns or events
- Experience of working with CRM systems
- Knowledge of the Yorkshire business community and networks

About Yorkshire's Brain Tumour Charity: Founded in 2003, Yorkshire's Brain Tumour Charity provides vital support to brain tumour patients and their loved ones, whilst also funding innovative clinical research in our region.
We fund innovative research and provide vital support to patients and families across the region. Around 15 people are diagnosed with a primary brain tumour in Yorkshire every week.
Our Mission We will improve the lives of people impacted by a brain tumour in Yorkshire, through local support and research.
