Payroll Specialist

Are you an experienced Payroll professional looking for your next challenge? Aramark UK is seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Payroll Specialist to join our supportive Payroll team in Leeds. Working in a hybrid environment, you'll play a vital role in delivering accurate end-to-end payroll services across multiple business sectors, ensuring colleagues are paid correctly and on time while maintaining compliance with payroll legislation and company policies.

This is a Fixed Term Contract role for 12 months based from our Leeds Horsforth office.

Key Responsibilities:

• Process end-to-end payrolls accurately and on time across multiple business sectors, ensuring compliance with payroll legislation and company policies.
• Utilise SAP Payroll to maintain employee records, process payroll changes, and support payroll reporting and analysis.
• Manage Auto Enrolment Pension processing, RTI submissions, payroll reconciliations, and the resolution of payroll queries and discrepancies.
• Support payroll system implementations, testing, upgrades, integrations, and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
• Provide expert support for Time & Attendance systems, ensuring accurate data transfer into payroll and resolving related issues.
• Produce payroll reports and management information, analysing data to identify trends, maintain data integrity, and support business decision-making.

Key Requirements:

• Proven experience processing end-to-end payrolls within a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
• Strong working knowledge of payroll legislation, including Auto Enrolment Pension and RTI submissions.
• Hands-on experience using SAP Payroll, including payroll administration, reporting, and data management.
• Experience supporting payroll system implementations, enhancements, testing, and process improvements.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills with the ability to analyse, manipulate, and validate large datasets accurately.
• Excellent attention to detail, communication skills, and the ability to build effective relationships with colleagues and stakeholders.
