What You'll Do

As a Registered Nurse, you will:

  • Deliver safe, high-quality nursing care to residents
  • Administer and manage medication in line with best practice
  • Complete clinical assessments and care plan reviews
  • Provide wound care and support with complex nursing needs
  • Work closely with residents, families and healthcare professionals
  • Lead and support care teams during your shift
  • Maintain accurate clinical records and documentation
  • Promote dignity, independence and wellbeing for every resident

Pay, Hours & Shift Pattern

  • £24.11 per hour
  • 22.3 hours per week
  • Night Shifts

What We're Looking For

  • Registered Nurse with a valid NMC PIN
  • Previous nursing experience within a care home or healthcare setting
  • Experience supporting older people and individuals living with dementia is desirable
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • A caring, compassionate and professional approach
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team
  • Available to work every other weekend .

About Hampden House

Hampden House is a 66-bed purpose-built nursing home located within the prestigious Duchy Estate. The home provides the highest level of facilities and services from personal and nursing care, short-stays and end-of-life care.

We have recently opened a new “memory suite” for those who require extra care due to a dementia diagnosis, while the rest of the home offers a more hotel-like atmosphere, allowing residents with full capacity the freedom to come and go as they wish. Residents in the main part of the home benefit from a touch of additional care provided by our friendly, dedicated team, ensuring their day-to-day life remains relaxed and enjoyable.
