York College & University Centre is the largest further education college in the region, offering a comprehensive range of courses from Entry Level to degree level. What will it look like?
You will work 37 hours per week earning £9.63 per hour (£18,584 per annum).

This is an amazing opportunity to gain hands-on experience across a variety of departments at York College! You will be based within the well established College & Leadership Administrative Services Team but will have the opportunity to work with various other teams such as Finance, Exam Planning, and Marketing. Working with these different teams will definitely give you a well-rounded understanding of how different aspects of the college function. You will not only be developing technical skills in those areas but also building essential life skills like communication and problem-solving, which are valuable no matter what career path you pursue.

Alongside your day-to-day role you will study for the Business Administrator Level 3 qualification. You will be given one full day a week to undertake this program of learning. During this time, you will be supported by a mentor and an assessor. This apprenticeship will take approximately 18 months to complete.

You will work through a programme of learning and be given paid time off to enable you to undertake a Business Administrator Apprenticeship at Level 3.

  • Are eligible to work in the UK
  • Have an interest in Business Administration
  • Are ambitious and keen to progress
  • Are committed to achieving your qualifications
