Warehouse Operative
Join Alliance Healthcare, part of Cencora, supporting one of Europe's leading pharmaceutical wholesale distribution networks.
Location: LS11 0LR
Shift: Monday to Friday, 12:00pm - 8:00pm
Hours: 37.5 hours per week
Pay Rate: £13.53 per hour
About the Role
We are looking for a reliable and detail-focused Warehouse Operative to join our Goods In team. You will play a vital role in ensuring all incoming stock is received accurately, checked thoroughly, and moved safely to the correct warehouse locations.

Key Responsibilities
Operate a VNA Forklift Truck safely and efficiently.
Receive, check and process incoming stock deliveries.
Verify product descriptions, pack sizes, quantities, expiry dates and product condition.
Record stock information accurately and complete all relevant paperwork.
Prioritise critical and out-of-stock items on receipt.
Maintain excellent housekeeping standards across warehouse and loading bay areas.
Adhere to all Health & Safety and security procedures.
Support the wider warehouse operation as required.
What We're Looking For
Essential:
Previous Forklift Truck experience.
High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
Good verbal and written communication skills.
Basic numeracy and literacy skills.
Good computer skills.
Strong awareness of customer service and quality standards.
Desirable:
Previous warehouse experience.
Important Information
This role involves regular manual handling activities, including lifting, carrying and bending, which are essential requirements of the position.
