The Cotswold Company are looking for a Showroom Senior Sales Advisor to join the team. This is a fantastic opportunity for experienced retail advisors or supervisors who are passionate about delivering exceptional service and ready to elevate their impact on the shop floor.

As a key member of the showroom team, you’ll be naturally engaging, confident and customer-focused. You’ll take pride in creating a welcoming, inspiring environment while supporting your colleagues and leading by example in delivering outstanding sales performance and service. You’ll play an important role in bringing our brand to life - ensuring every customer interaction feels personal, considered and memorable.

So, what will I be doing?

Typically, your responsibilities will include:

  • Delivering and exceeding individual sales targets and supporting the wider team in achieving showroom KPIs
  • Building strong relationships with customers, confidently guiding them through the sales journey from enquiry to purchase and follow-up
  • Using your product knowledge and sales expertise to drive conversions and maximise opportunities
  • Supporting the management team in motivating and inspiring colleagues on the shop floor
  • Acting as a role model for exceptional customer service, setting the standard for the team
  • Assisting with onboarding and coaching newer team members to build confidence and capability
  • Ensuring the showroom is beautifully presented in line with visual merchandising guidelines
  • Maintaining strong knowledge of current ranges, new launches and key products
  • Supporting stock accuracy and general showroom operations
  • Handling customer queries and resolving issues with professionalism and care
  • Identifying opportunities to improve the customer experience and drive sales performance
  • Collaborating with the wider team to create a positive, supportive and high-performing environment

To be a Showroom Senior Sales Advisor for The Cotswold Company, you should have:

  • Previous retail sales experience (senior advisor or supervisory level preferred)
  • A genuine passion for interiors, furniture and design
  • A natural ability to connect with customers and build lasting relationships
  • A strong commercial mindset with a drive to achieve and exceed targets
  • Confidence, enthusiasm and a proactive approach to selling
  • The ability to lead by example and positively influence those around you
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

For full-time appointment, you'll work 38 hours per week, from 10.00am to 6.00pm, Monday to Sunday (inc. bank holidays, depending on your rota) over 5 days.
