This is far more than a classroom support role. You'll be a trusted mentor, positive role model and consistent source of encouragement, building meaningful relationships that help students feel safe, valued and understood. Every day brings new opportunities to make a difference, whether that's celebrating a breakthrough moment, helping a student develop a new skill, or supporting them to achieve goals they never thought possible.

Working alongside dedicated teachers, therapists and specialist staff, you'll help create a nurturing, inclusive and inspiring environment where every student can thrive. If you're passionate about making a genuine impact and want to be part of a team that changes lives, this could be the perfect role for you.

  • Encourage positive behaviour and help create a calm, inclusive learning environment.
  • Work closely with teachers and the wider multidisciplinary team to deliver personalised support.
  • Monitor and celebrate student progress, recognising every success along the way.
  • Assist with classroom preparation and contribute to engaging learning experiences.
  • Help ensure the safety, wellbeing and safeguarding of all students at all times

What you will bring

  • GCSE C/4 in math's and English required.
  • Is passionate about supporting children and young people to achieve their potential.
  • Is patient, resilient and able to remain calm in challenging situations.
  • Can build positive relationships with students, families and colleagues.
  • Brings enthusiasm, compassion and a proactive approach to every day.
