Job Overview
Time Recruitment are supporting a leading heritage and restoration contractor who, due to continued growth, are seeking a skilled and experienced Concrete Repairer to join their team on a project in Fargate, Sheffield.
The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out a range of concrete repair and restoration works on heritage and commercial structures, ensuring all work is completed to the highest standards of quality and safety.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out concrete repairs on structural and non-structural elements.
- Break out and remove damaged concrete using hand and power tools.
- Prepare surfaces for repair using appropriate methods and materials.
- Apply repair mortars, concrete reinstatement systems, and protective coatings.
- Undertake patch repairs, crack repairs, and concrete restoration works.
- Work from technical drawings and site instructions.
- Ensure all work complies with health and safety regulations.
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment.
- Collaborate effectively with site management and project teams.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Concrete Repairer within construction, civil engineering, or heritage restoration.
- Experience with concrete repair systems, reinstatement mortars, and surface preparation techniques.
- Ability to use a range of hand and power tools safely and effectively.
- CSCS Card (essential).
- Strong understanding of site health and safety procedures.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Reliable, hardworking, and committed to delivering high-quality workmanship.
Desirable
- Experience working on heritage or listed building projects.
- PASMA, IPAF, or additional construction-related certifications.
- Knowledge of specialist repair products and structural repair techniques.
