Join our Active Care team in Pocklington as a Breakfast & After School Club Assistant. £12.71 – £13.50, term-time only.

Monday to Friday mornings and Monday to Thursday afternoons.

The Position

We are looking for enthusiastic and dedicated Active Care Assistant team members to assist during our Morning and After School Club in Bawtry. You'll deliver creative, play-based activities that inspire and entertain children aged 4–11, taking responsibility for the smooth running of the club and building positive relationships with parents, children and school staff.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in the day-to-day operation of the Morning and After School Club
• Deliver an outstanding experience and act as a point of contact for parents and carers
• Ensure the safeguarding and wellbeing of all children in your care
• Build strong relationships with parents, carers and school staff
• Prepare and serve a light breakfast/tea for attending children
• Support the ordering and management of food and supplies

Knowledge and Experience Requirements:

• Experience in a similar environment (wraparound care/holiday clubs)
• Experience in EYFS or assisting an out-of-school/sports club (desirable)
• Level 2/3 childcare or playwork qualification (desirable)
• Level 2 Food Hygiene (training can be provided)
• First Aid (training can be provided)
• Availability five days a week, Monday to Friday

The recruitment process consists of three stages: a telephone interview, a practical assessment, and a face-to-face interview.
