We are looking for a Gym Instructor to join our team at Kilnwick Percy Resort & Golf Club in York. Fantastic hourly rate of £12.71!

This is a permanent position to work full time hours. This will be 30 hours across three various days which will include weekends and bank holidays.

Flexibility is essential to suit the needs of the business.

About The Role

Main responsibilities:

The successful Gym Instructor will

  • Liaise with the General Manager to ensure membership sales are maintained by monitoring and upselling new gym memberships and renewals.
  • Ensure the smooth day to day running of the gym
  • Co-ordinate and deliver pre-planned fitness classes
  • Complete staff rotas ensuring all classes are covered
  • Engage the gym team to ensure maximum number retention is achieved
  • Complete gym equipment checks and record and escalate any defects or hazards
  • Ensure the safety and cleanliness of the gym, changing rooms and guests at all times
  • Check and order cleaning products and supplements

Requirements:

We are looking for someone with similar previous experience and a Level 2 Gym Instructor qualification. It would be an advantage for the successful candidate to hold a driving licence and the ability to drive is an advantage to enable easy travel to and from the resort.

Required Criteria

  • Right to Live and work in the UK
  • Similar previous experience and a Level 2 Gym Instructor qualification
