We are seeking a committed and enthusiastic Functional Skills / Foundation Learning Lecturer to join a leading Rotherham based college. This is an excellent opportunity to empower learners by delivering engaging and inclusive teaching that enhances their English, Maths, employability, and independent living skills.

What We're Looking For:

• Experience delivering Functional Skills, Foundation Learning, or vocational programmes within Further Education
• A relevant Level 3 qualification or above
• A recognised teaching qualification (or willingness to work towards one)
• Knowledge of supporting learners with diverse learning needs and abilities
• Strong communication, organisational, and classroom management skills

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver engaging Functional Skills and/or Foundation Learning sessions
• Support learners in developing English, Maths, employability, personal, social, and independent living skills
• Monitor, assess, and track learner progress, providing constructive feedback and tailored support
• Create an inclusive learning environment that promotes participation, confidence, and achievement
• Contribute to curriculum planning, development, and quality improvement activities
