Job Requirements/Description

Martin House provides free specialist palliative care to babies, children and young people with complex and life-shortening conditions. Families from across West, North and East Yorkshire have access to our care 24/7, 365 days a year, including specialist doctors. Every year we care for more than 550 families, at the hospice, in hospital and in families’ own homes, as well as supporting around 200 bereaved family members.

We are seeking a talented and proactive Content and Graphic Designer to create engaging visual content that supports our marketing, communications and fundraising activities, helping to tell the stories that matter most and inspire support for Martin House.

The role will involve:

  • Creating high-quality design assets for digital and print channels, including social media graphics, campaign materials, leaflets, posters and email content.
  • Supporting website updates and creating engaging content that reflects the Martin House brand.
  • Producing and editing video content, motion graphics and animations for campaigns.
  • Working collaboratively with colleagues across the organisation to deliver creative solutions and maintain consistent brand standards.

Our ideal candidate will:

  • Be committed to Martin House’s values – Excellence, Respect, Integrity and Compassion.
  • Have strong graphic design skills with experience creating content for both digital and print media.
  • Be highly proficient in Adobe Creative Suite and confident managing projects from brief through to final delivery.
  • Be creative, organised and proactive, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively as part of a team.
  • Have excellent communication skills and a positive, can-do approach to problem solving.
