The role holder will lead on managing a new dedicated facility, to support DWP alongside wider Government. This is a cross-cutting role that requires knowledge of the team?s wider responsibilities to provide a robust resilient service to DWP and its partners.
This post requires British nationality (some dual nationals may be ineligible) and a be eligible for Developed Vetting (DV) clearance. You will also need to undergo additional security clearance checks, with the offer of employment being conditional on obtaining all necessary security clearances.
Our team provides support 24 hours a day, 7 days a week and as a result, job holders will be expected to work as part of an on-call rota.
The role requires travel to different DWP sites and Government agencies and occasional overnight stays.

Interview
Shortlisted candidates will be invited to attend a face to face interview in Leeds. The interview will assess: Behaviours, technical skills, and experience. The interview aims to explore the candidate?s capability for the role.

The Interviews will take place during early October.

Applicants are required to meet the UK residency requirements so that National Security Vetting (NSV) checks can be conducted. Developed Vetting (DV): at least 7 of the last 10 years, 2 of which must have been the immediately preceding years from the point of applying for this job.
Offers of employment: Following the interview stage, should you not reach the required standard for the advertised G7 role, we may be able to offer you a role which would be a grade below the advertised post under our ?Near Miss? process. Any candidates falling into this category will be contacted once the interview results have been released. You will be asked to indicate if you are interested when completing your application.
