Quality Director

We are supporting a leading life sciences and pharmaceutical manufacturing business in the search for a Site Quality Director.

Operating within a highly regulated GMP environment, this role offers the opportunity to lead and shape the quality function at site level, ensuring compliance, driving performance, and embedding a culture of continuous improvement.

• Responsibilities
• Lead and develop the site Quality function (QA, QC, QPs)
• Define and deliver a robust quality strategy aligned to business goals
• Ensure compliance with UK, EU and FDA cGMP requirements
• Act as the lead for regulatory inspections and external audits
• Drive continuous improvement across quality systems and KPIs
• Lead quality risk management and governance activities
• Collaborate across manufacturing, supply chain and technical teams
• Coach and develop high-performing quality leaders and teams
• About you

• Senior leadership experience within pharmaceutical or life sciences manufacturing
• Strong expertise in GMP (UK, EU, FDA) environments
• Proven track record managing regulatory inspections and audits
• Experience across QA, QC and quality systems leadership
• Strong stakeholder engagement and influencing skills
• Degree in scientific discipline (or equivalent) essential
• QP status desirable
