The Team
The Digital Experience Team are a multi skills team, make up of technical specialists and content designers and creators. The team have stewardship of a number of digital assets around the University, with the main focus being on our award winning University website.
The team create attractive, accessible assets to support a wide range of stakeholders and functions within the University, with a particular focus on supporting student recruitment, using well planned and delivered user journeys to support our enquirers and applicants.
The Role
We are looking for a confident and skilled people manager with excellent personal organisational skills, attention to detail and the ability to work autonomously. The successful candidate will have skills and knowledge around the management of large and complex websites and their links with marketing, with knowledge of using HTML, CSS and JavaScript. They will have a good understanding of user journeys, web analytics and SEO and GEO.
Experience of working in Higher Education or similar complex organisation is desirable but not essential.
Required skills and experience
- Experience within team leadership and development
- Able to prove experience of managing large and complex websites
- Understanding of HTML, CSS and JavaScript
- Prior experience using web reporting tools
- Understanding of CMS and design for digital layout, composition and wireframes
