Reed Education are delighted to be working in partnership with a welcoming and well-managed primary school to recruit a confident Year 6 Teacher from May half term until the end of the summer term.

The Role

As SATs will be complete, the focus of this role will be on supporting pupils through the final and most memorable part of their primary school journey. Responsibilities will include:

• Delivering engaging and purposeful post-SATs learning
• Supporting pupils with transition to secondary school
• Playing a key role in Year 6 residential activities
• Promoting confidence, resilience and positive end-of-year experiences

The Ideal Candidate

We are looking for a teacher who:

• Holds QTS and has experience teaching Year 6 or upper KS2
• Is confident supporting pupils post-SATs
• Has experience (or confidence) supporting transitions and residentials
• Brings a calm, positive and nurturing approach to the classroom
• Can quickly build strong relationships with pupils and staff
