Job summary

Working in a team with Neil Milligan, Wasim Juma and Steven Whyte our Structured Real Estate & Infrastructure Finance (SREIF) Heads of Team, the SREIF Origination Senior Manager will play a critical role in delivering high impact funding facilities to support housing delivery in areas most in need. You will be joining our highly skilled and experienced team of 20 people, who are committed to making positive change in how loan funding is deployed by the National Housing Bank to address gaps and failures in commercial funding markets, ensuring that developers can access finance to boost delivery of new housing.

Person specification

As an experienced finance or real estate professional you'll be comfortable building and exploiting your network to originate new lending opportunities, analysing complex funding challenges, negotiating robust lending structures and effectively managing the progress of proposals through approval processes.

You will be resilient and comfortable managing stakeholders at a senior level and your discussions will always be shaped by a good understanding of the commercial and operational impact of what we do as a loan origination team. You will enjoy working in an innovative, fun and engaging way and be able to negotiate and persuade.

As an experienced finance professional you?ll understand how to manage colleagues and be able to demonstrate you can work with others as part of a team in a collaborative, inclusive way.
