About This Role

We are looking for a compassionate, reliable and dedicated Healthcare Assistant to provide high-quality 1:1 support to a pupil within a school environment.

The successful candidate will play an important role in supporting the pupil to access education and participate fully in school life, while ensuring her individual health, wellbeing and care needs are met.

You will work closely with school staff and other professionals to promote a safe, inclusive and supportive environment, following individual care plans, risk assessments and agreed best practice.

This is a rewarding opportunity for a Healthcare Assistant who is attentive, confident, caring and committed to helping a child develop, learn and enjoy a positive experience within school.

Clinical Experience

Previous experience supporting children with complex healthcare needs is desirable.

Where required, specialist clinical training will be provided by our highly skilled, in house nursing team.

Essential Requirements

To be considered for this role, applicants must:

  • Have a minimum of 3 months' paid experience working in a professional care setting within the UK.
  • Have the right to work in the UK*
  • Be committed to delivering safe, compassionate and child-centred care.
  • Be willing to complete client-specific, clinical training where required.
  • Full UK driving licence and own vehicle
