Location: Goole
Pay Rate: £15.70 per hour
Hours: Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week (standard day shifts)
Contract: Until March 2027 initially, with the possibility of extension
Start Date: ASAP

We're recruiting for a Warehouse Controller to join a busy and well-established manufacturing site in Goole. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with warehouse, stores, stock control, or logistics experience who is looking for a long-term position with competitive pay and a great work-life balance.

Unlike many warehouse roles, this position offers Monday to Friday day shifts, no rotating shifts, and the opportunity to build valuable experience within a leading manufacturing environment.

What You'll Be Doing

As a Warehouse Controller, you'll play a key role in keeping the operation running smoothly by ensuring materials and stock are available where and when they're needed.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Receiving, booking in, and tracking materials and deliveries
• Monitoring stock levels and maintaining accurate inventory records
• Carrying out regular stock checks and cycle counts
• Investigating and resolving stock discrepancies
• Allocating and moving materials to support production requirements
• Coordinating deliveries with suppliers and internal departments
• Updating stock information using warehouse management systems
• Supporting the day-to-day running of the warehouse and stores function

What We're Looking For

We're interested in candidates with experience in:

• Warehouse Operations
• Stock Control
• Stores/Warehouse Administration
• Goods In & Goods Out
• Logistics and Materials Handling

You'll also have:

• Good attention to detail
• Basic computer skills
• Confidence using warehouse or stock management systems
• Strong organisational skills
• A proactive and reliable approach to work
• The ability to work independently and as part of a team

Previous experience in a warehouse, stores, stock control, or logistics environment is highly desirable.
