We are looking for a reliable, proactive and customer-focused site services operative to join our site operations team at our impressive 140-acre campus in Alwoodley, LS17. Set within extensive green grounds, the site offers a unique working environment with open spaces, sports facilities and beautiful surroundings, while still being easily accessible from across Leeds and the surrounding area.

As a site services operative, you will provide a visible and professional presence across the school site, supporting lettings users, visitors, events, sports fixtures and community activities.

You will help ensure facilities, rooms, pitches and external areas are prepared and fit for purpose, respond to operational and helpdesk requests, support car park and pedestrian management, and carry out site inspections and patrols to identify any safety, security or maintenance concerns.

This is a varied role where no two days are the same, so you will need to be comfortable working flexibly, using your initiative and responding to changing priorities.

We are looking for someone with a strong awareness of security and safety, excellent communication and customer service skills, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team. You will also need to be physically able to carry out patrols and manual tasks and have basic IT skills for reporting and helpdesk requests.

You will be reliable, trustworthy, proactive and calm under pressure, with a professional and helpful approach. Previous experience in a security, facilities or sports environment would be advantageous, as would a First Aid qualification but these are not essential.
