Warehouse Assistant

About the Role

We are looking for a Warehouse Assistant to join our team at Bella di Notte.

This is a hands-on role supporting the day-to-day running of our warehouse and ensuring our customers receive their orders accurately and on time.

You will play an important part in the full fulfilment process, from receiving and storing stock through to picking, packing and despatching customer orders.

What You'll Be Doing

• Accurately pick, pack and despatch customer orders within agreed service levels.

• Receive deliveries, check incoming goods and safely put stock away in the correct locations.

• Maintain accurate stock levels and report any discrepancies promptly.

• Keep warehouse, storage and picking areas organised, clean and safe.

• Use warehouse and order management systems, spreadsheets and other computer systems as required.

• Complete daily warehouse tasks efficiently and communicate progress or any issues to your manager.

• Work closely with colleagues across picking, packing, despatch and delivery processing.

• Support the team during busy and peak periods by working flexibly across different warehouse activities.

• Follow company procedures and health & safety requirements at all times.

• Identify opportunities to improve safety, accuracy and efficiency within the warehouse.

• Support colleagues, share knowledge and contribute to a positive team environment.

Experience & Skills

Previous experience in a warehouse, stock, fulfilment or similar practical role would be desirable, but full training can be provided to the right person.

You should have:

• An understanding of safe warehouse working practices, or a willingness to learn.

• Good accuracy when handling stock and processing orders.

• The ability to work effectively as part of a team.

• Good communication skills.

• Basic computer skills; experience with Microsoft Office would be beneficial.

• A willingness to work flexibly during busy periods.
