As a Teaching Assistant, you'll be tasked with providing 1:1 or small group support to learners with additional needs.
Responsibilities:
- Supporting teachers wherever necessary when conducting lessons, including helping to set up at the start of the day
- Helping to ensure that the classroom is safe at all times and facilitates student development
- Providing academic and behavioural support to students to aid their progress
- Providing valuable feedback to teachers about student progress
Requirements:
- Hold or be willing to undertake an Enhanced DBS check on the update service
- A passion for working with young people
- A proactive, positive person that can offer flexibility in a busy college environment is essential to these roles
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Experience working in a school setting (advantageous but not a necessity)
