Stafflex Education is seeking passionate Level 2 and Level 3 qualified Nursery Practitioners to join our friendly supply team, supporting a variety of nurseries and early years settings across Huddersfield and the surrounding areas.

About the Role

As a Nursery Practitioner, you will:

Deliver high-quality care and learning experiences for children aged 0-5 years
Support children's development in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework
Create a safe, stimulating, and nurturing environment where children can learn through play
Assist with daily routines including meal times, personal care, and sleep routines
Encourage children's social, emotional, physical, and language development
Build positive relationships with children, colleagues, and parents/carers
Follow safeguarding procedures and nursery policies at all times
Adapt confidently to different nursery environments and teams

Requirements

Essential: Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Early Years, Childcare, or equivalent
Minimum 1 year's experience working within a nursery or early years setting
Good understanding of the EYFS framework and child development
A genuine passion for supporting young children's learning and wellbeing
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain one
Flexible, reliable, and professional approach to work
