Manor Park Care Home provides high-quality care in the heart of Malton, North Yorkshire. We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Registered Nurse (RGN/RMN) to join our team as Deputy Care Home Manager.

With 80 en-suite bedrooms and excellent facilities, we are committed to creating a supportive community where residents can thrive while enjoying the highest standards of care and wellbeing.

The Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Deputy Care Home Manager to support in the effective leadership and day-to-day management of the service. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated individual who is passionate about delivering outstanding care, developing teams, and maintaining the highest standards of regulatory compliance.

As Deputy Home Manager, you will play a key role in promoting a positive culture throughout the home, ensuring residents receive exceptional care while supporting colleagues to achieve their full potential.

Key Responsibilities:
Support the Registered Manager in the overall management and operation of the home.
Ensure the delivery of high-quality, person-centred care in line with best practice and regulatory requirements.
Lead, motivate and support the care team, fostering a positive and inclusive working environment.
Supervise, coach and develop staff through regular guidance, training and performance management.
Assist with recruitment, induction, workforce planning and rota management.
Oversee care planning, risk assessments and medication practices to ensure safety and compliance.
Undertake audits and quality assurance checks, identifying opportunities for continuous improvement.
Support compliance with CQC regulations, safeguarding responsibilities and company policies.
Build and maintain positive relationships with residents, families, healthcare professionals and external stakeholders.
Participate in the management on-call rota and respond effectively to emergencies when required.

What We're Looking For:
Registered Nurse (RGN/RMN) with a valid NMC PIN.
Previous experience in a senior nursing, clinical leadership, deputy management, or similar role within a care home environment.
Sound knowledge of CQC requirements, safeguarding legislation, medication management, and person-centred care practices.
Proven experience leading, motivating, and developing multidisciplinary teams.
Excellent organisational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
A professional, compassionate, and resident-focused approach.
Ability to work collaboratively, manage competing priorities, and drive continuous improvement.
Flexible and adaptable with a commitment to delivering outstanding care and support.
Willingness to participate in the management on-call rota.
