Dispensing Optician vacancies in Knaresborough. Zest Optical recruitment is working on behalf of a well-regarded independent opticians group to recruit a part-time Dispensing Optician for their established practice in Knaresborough.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a close-knit team with a strong focus on providing personalised eye care and exceptional service. The successful Dispensing Optician will have the time and freedom to build genuine relationships with patients, understand their individual needs and recommend the most suitable frames and lenses.

The position is available for two days per week, working Mondays alongside either a Thursday or Saturday on a rotating basis.

Dispensing Optician - Role

Independent opticians with a strong focus on patient care

Established practice serving Knaresborough and the surrounding communities

Work closely with the Optometrists and wider practice team

Provide expert advice based on each patient's needs and lifestyle

Dispense, fit and adjust a wide range of spectacles

Access to the latest developments in spectacle and contact lenses

Excellent selection of frames from premium and well-known brands

Brands include Gucci, Tom Ford, Ray-Ban, Oakley, Ralph Lauren, Ted Baker, Wolf and Stepper

Deliver a high standard of service throughout every stage of the patient journey

Part-time permanent position

Two days and approximately 16 hours per week

Week one: Monday and Thursday, 9am to 5:30pm

Week two: Monday, 9am to 5:30pm, and Saturday, 9am to 4pm

Fully qualified Dispensing Optician

FBDO qualification

Registered with the GOC

Previous experience working as a Dispensing Optician

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Confident advising on frames, lenses and suitable optical solutions

Patient-focused with high standards of service

Takes pride in delivering an excellent patient experience
