Job Requirements/Description
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop and implement high-quality, scalable and reliable software solutions that meet business needs
- Lead and mentor a team of developers, providing technical guidance, training and support to ensure their growth and success
- Analyze and troubleshoot complex technical issues, providing timely solutions and recommendations to improve product performance and functionality
- Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices
- Utilize agile principles to deliver projects on time with a focus on continuous improvement
- Keep up-to-date on new and emerging technologies in software engineering and apply them to enhance our products and processes
- Champion and uphold a culture of innovation, collaboration, and technical excellence within the team and the organization
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field
- Minimum of 8 years of professional software engineering experience with hands-on coding and design experience in a highly scalable SaaS environment
- Proven experience leading and mentoring a team of software engineers
- Expertise in developing software using Java, .Net or other OOP languages
- Strong knowledge of microservices architecture, design patterns, and distributed systems
- Experience with cloud technologies such as AWS, Azure or Google Cloud Platform
- Strong troubleshooting skills and experience in debugging and optimizing software performance
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively and effectively in a cross-functional team environment
- Self-motivated and able to work independently in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Familiarity with agile development methodologies and DevOps practices
