September 2026 Start Full-Time Long-Term Position From £140 per day

An excellent primary school in Doncaster is looking to appoint an enthusiastic Year 1 Teacher to join their team on a full-time, long-term basis from September 2026.

This role would suit a teacher who understands the importance of early reading, phonics, and creating engaging learning experiences that help children develop confidence both academically and socially.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead a Year 1 class and deliver high-quality teaching across the curriculum
• Use Little Wandle effectively to support phonics development and early reading skills
• Plan and deliver lessons that cater for a range of learning needs
• Support children with additional needs through appropriate differentiation
• Maintain high expectations of behaviour and achievement
• Work collaboratively with support staff, leadership and parents

We're Looking For Someone Who:

• Holds QTS and has recent primary teaching experience
• Has experience teaching in a Year 1 or KS1 setting
• Demonstrates a strong understanding of Little Wandle phonics
• Has knowledge of effective SEN support strategies
• Can build positive relationships with pupils and colleagues
• Brings energy, creativity and commitment to the classroom
• Possesses strong behaviour management skills
