Trust Education are currently recruiting for a committed and adaptable Full-Time Cover Supervisor to join a welcoming school in Wakefield on a full-time basis, starting ASAP on an ongoing temporary contract.

This is a fantastic opportunity to work across a variety of subjects and year groups, supporting pupils in maintaining continuity of learning and engagement in the absence of their regular teacher.

The Role

You will be responsible for supervising pre-planned lessons across multiple subjects, ensuring pupils remain engaged and focused on their learning. You will create a positive and inclusive classroom environment, manage behaviour effectively, and provide support to pupils throughout lessons.

You will work closely with teaching staff and the wider school team to ensure lessons run smoothly and pupils receive appropriate support in the absence of their usual teacher.

The Ideal Candidate Will:

Have experience working with children or young people in an educational setting

Have experience supporting pupils across a range of subjects and year groups

Demonstrate strong classroom and behaviour management skills

Be confident, adaptable and able to supervise lessons independently

Have strong communication and organisational skills

Be enthusiastic about supporting pupils and promoting positive learning

Be committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
