DB Technology Lead

The Vacancy

TPT Retirement Solutions are seeking a DB Technology Lead to provide technical leadership across our Defined Benefit platform estate. Working closely with Product, Platform and Delivery teams, you'll design and deliver technology change that supports strategic, regulatory and operational goals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the technical delivery of platform enhancements, integrations and strategic initiatives.
• Translate business requirements into scalable, practical solutions.
• Provide assurance on technical designs and implementation approaches.
• Manage technical risks, dependencies and delivery plans.
• Collaborate with architects, suppliers and stakeholders to deliver secure, resilient solutions.
• Drive continuous improvement, governance and engineering best practice.

Skills, Qualifications & Experience:

• Experience in a senior technical delivery, technical lead or systems implementation role.
• A strong understanding of Agile delivery and modern software development practices.
• Experience leading technical changes across design, build, testing and deployment.
• Knowledge of systems integration, APIs, release management and implementation risk.
• Strong stakeholder management and problem-solving skills.
• Experience within pensions or regulated financial services is desirable.
• Knowledge of platform modernisation, upgrades or legacy technology.
• ITIL, Agile or project delivery qualifications.
