What you'll do:
- Provide a professional and effective security service, ensuring all company, client and statutory requirements are followed.
- Deliver a high standard of customer service, acting as a professional and approachable point of contact for employees, visitors and contractors.
- Monitor the site and respond promptly to any security concerns, incidents or emergencies.
- Follow site Assignment Instructions, security procedures and agreed KPIs at all times.
- Respond effectively to emergency situations, including fire alarms and security alerts, ensuring the appropriate procedures are followed.
- Assist visitors and third-party contractors, ensuring site access procedures and policies are adhered to.
- Liaise with emergency services and other statutory authorities when required.
- Monitor CCTV, radio and other site security systems, escalating concerns appropriately.
- Maintain accurate security records, including incident reports, occurrence books, health and safety documentation and other required site records.
- Provide regular updates and feedback to the site management team regarding security operations, incidents and areas of concern.
- Build positive working relationships with colleagues, customers and other stakeholders across the site.
- Maintain high standards of personal presentation and professionalism at all times.
- Carry out any other reasonable duties required to support the safe and effective operation of the site.
What you'll bring:
- A valid SIA Frontline Guarding Licence – essential.
- A professional, approachable and customer-focused manner.
- Confidence responding to security incidents and emergency situations.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Good organisational and time-management skills.
- IT literacy, including a working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
- The ability to complete reports and security documentation accurately.
- The ability to work calmly and effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Previous experience within security operations would be beneficial.
- A security-related professional qualification would be advantageous.
- Previous experience working within an office or corporate environment would also be desirable.
