Job Introduction

As a Chef at Sodexo in Fortrea, Clinical Research Unit, Draper’s Yard, Leeds, LS11 9EH, you’ll play an important part in delivering high-quality food and service in a professional site environment.

You’ll prepare and cook fresh, tasty meals while maintaining excellent standards of food safety, hygiene and presentation. Working as part of a supportive catering team, you’ll help ensure every service runs smoothly and consistently.

What you’ll do:

• Prepare, cook and present food to a consistently high standard.
• Support the delivery of an efficient and professional catering service.
• Follow food safety, hygiene, allergen and health and safety procedures at all times.
• Maintain a clean, organised and safe kitchen environment.
• Assist with stock control, storage and rotation of ingredients.
• Work effectively with colleagues to ensure smooth service throughout the day.
• Help minimise food waste and use ingredients responsibly.
• Deliver excellent standards of service to customers and colleagues on site.

What you bring:

• Experience working in a professional kitchen or catering environment.
• A genuine passion for food and delivering high standards.
• Good knowledge of food hygiene and safe working practices.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills.
• The ability to work effectively in a busy environment.
• A reliable and flexible approach to work.
• A positive attitude and willingness to support the wider catering team.
