Billing & Finance Assistant

Join a growing organisation and support high-volume AP, AR, billing, reconciliations and payment processing within a fast-paced finance team. This is a hybrid Leeds-based opportunity on a initial 6-month FTC with strong permanent potential, and the chance to play a key role in the company's ongoing finance transformation journey.

Description

You'll play a key role in supporting the day-to-day finance operation, with responsibilities including:

• Processing incoming and outgoing payments
• Cash allocation and account reconciliations
• Billing and invoicing activities
• Producing and issuing statements
• Performing bank reconciliations
• Supporting month-end close processes
• Maintaining accurate financial records
• Building strong working relationships with internal stakeholders and fee earners
• Supporting a busy finance function with a variety of transactional finance duties

Profile

We're keen to speak with candidates who can demonstrate:

• Experience within transactional finance, legal cashiering, accounts payable, accounts receivable or billing
• Strong reconciliation skills
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
• Confident communication skills and the ability to work with stakeholders at all levels
• A proactive and inquisitive approach
• Resilience and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
• Strong Excel skills

Legal finance experience would be highly advantageous; however, candidates from professional services or similar transactional finance environments will also be considered.
