Senior Learning Officer - Biomedical Science

Job description
Based in our high-spec Cat 2 laboratories, the successful candidate will join a team of experienced learning officers in the Biomedical Sciences team and work collegiately and flexibly to deliver an excellent learning environment for students.

Our Biomedical Science learning officer team provide expert technical and educational support for colleagues, undergraduate, postgraduate and research students as well as supporting the delivery of external courses.

The role provides excellent opportunities to contribute to our students learning, learn new technical skills, undertake training and personal development, and to work closely with the academic team.

The Senior Learning Officer will ensure the general preparation of learning materials for undergraduate, postgraduate and external classes, stock control and be able to demonstrate a good understanding of the principles of safety information.

The applicant will be skilled in Microbiology and/or Molecular Biology ideally with previous experience of working within a fast-paced laboratory team.

The role is based at City Campus. The role is fully campus based, a vibrant community of both students and colleagues.
