Field Service Engineer

Accept Recruitment is currently seeking a dedicated Field Service Engineer for our Client. This is a field-based role, involving travel to client sites to install, maintain, and repair various vehicle valeting equipment. Weekend work is required on a rotating basis, one in every three weekends.

Responsibilities:

• Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on a variety of equipment, including rollover car washes, jet washes, vacuums, and air-water towers.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic issues to minimize equipment downtime.
• Conduct routine inspections, monitor equipment performance, and accurately document maintenance activities.
• Support the regional service management team with all aspects of field service tasks.
• Work independently or as part of a team to resolve technical issues related to our product range.
• Adhere to Health, Safety, and Environmental standards in all work aspects, reporting any breaches to senior management.
• Attend regular in-person meetings with line managers as directed.

Requirements:

• Mechanical Engineering experience: 1 year (preferred)
• Electrical Engineering experience: 1 year (preferred but not essential)
• Proficiency with IT systems, particularly Microsoft Office
• Valid driving license (required)

Shifts and salary:

• Monday Friday
• 8 00
• Weekend work is required on a rotating basis, one in every three weekends.
• Up to £35,000 per annum depending on experience
