Our client is a leading name in manufacturing committed to ensuring the highest standards in health and safety. We are looking for a Multi-Skilled Engineer with expertise in Legionella and manufacturing environments to join our growing team in Bradford.

Job Overview:
As a Multi-Skilled Engineer, you will be responsible for carrying out planned and reactive maintenance in manufacturing facilities. Your expertise in Legionella control (L8) will be crucial to maintaining a safe working environment. You'll work to ensure that all systems and processes are in compliance with relevant regulations while optimizing the performance and reliability of our engineering operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform regular maintenance and servicing of building services systems, including plumbing, HVAC, and water systems.
• Carry out Legionella risk assessments and ensure compliance with L8 guidelines (Health & Safety Commission).
• Conduct inspections and maintenance on water systems, including cleaning and disinfection of water systems.
• Troubleshoot and resolve electrical and mechanical faults within manufacturing equipment and building systems.
• Liaise with the Health and Safety team to ensure all engineering activities meet health and safety standards.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation related to maintenance and Legionella compliance.
• Ensure that all relevant procedures are followed and that all maintenance work is carried out in accordance with industry best practices.

Qualifications and Experience:

• NVQ Level 3 in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• Valid Legionella awareness qualification (L8 or equivalent).
• Strong knowledge of Legionella control and relevant water hygiene regulations.
• Proven multi-skilled maintenance experience (both mechanical and electrical) in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
• Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and within a team environment.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.

Desirable:

• Experience working in manufacturing or production environments.
• Additional qualifications in HVAC, electrical engineering, or plumbing.
