Site Agent Highways

An excellent opportunity exists for an experienced career highways Site Agent with a Tier 1 principal contractor.

As an Agent, you ll play a pivotal role in driving project success through strong leadership, strategic planning, and effective performance management.

Duties will include

• Planning and programming of the works
• Monitoring and implementing the financial controls and cost reports
• Management and monitoring of Sub Agents, Section Engineers, the delivery team and subcontractors
• Set targets and KPI s in line with key outputs and monitors performance
• Management of plant, materials and subcontractors
• Oversee and manage traffic management plans
• Liaise and chair client/project meetings
• Oversee daily administration, quality, audits, permits and records
• Implement company procedures and protocols
• Compilation of Method statements and risk assessments
• Interpreting and implementing of the design
• Ensure Health and Safety compliance

Requirements for this project include

• Degree/Diploma in Civil Engineer or similar, CSCS, SMSTS
• Professional accreditation or working toward it
• A career highways Engineer with extensive highways construction experience for tier one or principal Contractors in the UK.
• Highly knowledgeable on the NEC and commercially astute
• Proven management and leadership skills coupled with a strong work ethic
• A proven record of delivering similar projects successfully as a Site Agent having progressed through the engineering ranks from Site Engineer to Sub Agent
• Self-motivated, confident and responsible with a Can do positive attitude
